Studio xOx Lilac Wonderland Launch Night

December 20, 202242 min read

The Studio xOx launch night brought together over 200 attendees – from architects and stylists, to interior designers and Australian suppliers – to see the Studio xOx concept come to life for their very own eyes. Fleur & Co Creative, our trusted event planner for the evening, spent weeks meticulously planning and organising to imagine up the most incredible lilac-themed wonderland for our esteemed guests. And the results were absolutely breathtaking – the xOx studio and adjoining sister brand, Amalfi Tiles were injected with vibrant, dreamy lilac through various elements to spectacular effect.

We wanted to integrate the one-of-a-kind backstory of the xOx brand with the lightness of a fun night out – and achieved this outcome to great success. The night was a feast for the senses – from stunning lighting, floral arrangements, iridescent bar tiles, and Nood Co basins, to custom pill-shaped mirrors from Studio Ting, bar signage, custom vases by Tala Kaalim, pillars, foam ‘xOx’ pieces, and business cards.

A visually striking decal of the 3D render of Nood Co’s new lilac profile covered all the walls of Amalfi Tiles to transform it into a makeshift bar for the night. Guests enjoyed refreshments in the form of a xOx-themed lilac cocktail menu with whimsical drink names like the Boozy Cockatoo, xOx On The Beach, and Let’s Get Nood. Every little detail was an explosion of that beautifully delicate lilac hue that we can’t get enough of.

The Studio xOx brand story was seamlessly weaved into the launch space with four pillars of xOx, giving guests a chance to read each pillar to get a glimpse into why the idea of xOx was brought to life in the first place. Nood Co’s lilac launch video was projected onto screens so guests could piece together the significance of the colour profile to both the Studio xOx and Nood Co brands.

Jonathan Tsoupis, director of Studio xOx, spoke about the importance of Australian-made interior design products and how, as influencers of our industry, we have the power to support Australian design and manufacturing processes. This sentiment resonated heavily with the audience as they acknowledged just how crucial it is to hero Australian suppliers in such a competitive international landscape. Matt Di Costa, director of Nood Co, spoke of his passion for colour and the excitement the brand had around launching the lilac profile, hinting at big things that are coming for the brand in the near future.

Guests were entertained throughout the launch night with live music by musician Voli K, followed up by talented DJ and bongo player Mr Bongolicious. Delectable catering was taken care of by the amazing teams at Pepe’s Kitchen and The Seafood Box, who set up a scrumptious seafood grazing table for guests to enjoy. The night ended with Studio xOx goodie bags, which contained an “xOx magazine” with memorable stories about our brand and our hardworking, dedicated makers.

It was an industry night to remember. We were so happy to share our message of supporting Australian design and manufacturing with so many.
